Alcohol Free Weekends

Park management with the support our Band Council has enacted alcohol bans during two weekends of the camping season. The first is the Victoria Day weekend in May. The ban will be in effect for 4 days, from Friday through til Monday. The second ban will be during the August weekend of our annual Pow-wow - Beginning Friday and ending Sunday.

During an alcohol ban, possession of alcoholic beverages on the premises is prohibited. People under the influence of alcohol will not be admitted on to Park property. Non-compliance with the alcohol ban will result in eviction and may result in charges. Alcoholic beverages are permitted in the park during other times as provided for in our Park Rules and under provincial legislation. The responsible use of alcohol is strongly encouraged.
